In the mountainous northern region of Okinawa known as Yanbaru, there are deep forests and small traditional villages.
The galvanized steel sheet (corrugated metal) used in an old house within one of these settlements has been transformed into wall art.Weathered by years of sun, rain, and wind, the surface tells a quiet story of time.
This piece captures a single fragment of that aging process and reinterprets it as art.
