A stainless top set into a frame of merapi timber.
The legs are slender black-iron angle, raised at the four corners to carry nothing but the top and the shelf.
The lines stay thin, so the piece does not crowd a room.
Three drawers, each front cut from a single board of merapi.
An oil finish brings out the reddish grain and leaves it there.
The lower shelf is slatted — air moves through it, so nothing sits damp.
Stainless takes water and wipes clean.
