A frame of aged apiton, built around a mirror.
An iron-dye finish settles the colour.
Nothing is painted over it — the close grain stays visible.
It stands 1300mm.
Leaned against a wall it takes in the whole body; hung, it opens the room.
The frame runs 45mm deep, thick enough to cast a shadow across the glass.
What it holds keeps changing — light from a window, a flower set down, someone passing.
