今年も残すところ、あと5日。
年末らしい慌ただしさのなか、皆さまいかがお過ごしでしょうか。
ゆっくりと一年を振り返る間もなく、気づけば年の瀬を迎えている──そんな感覚が正直なところですが、2025年という年は、私たちにとって“これからの10年”を見つめ直す節目となったように思います。

As the end-of-year bustle sets in, we hope this letter finds you well.
Without much time to pause and reflect, here we are again.
Still, 2025 turned out to be a year that made us look ahead—toward the next ten years.
Indigoのとなりへ工場を引越し。2025年4月〜12月
年明け早々、夫の怪我からはじまり、続く工場の引っ越しと移転作業。
昨年からの重労働がたたって、「もう若くはないなぁ」と、ついに制作担当・比嘉も体の変化を自覚しはじめました。でも私は、それも良いきっかけだったのではと思っています。
その時々で柔軟に対応していくこと。
それが、何かを長く続けていくための秘訣なのかもしれませんね。
なにより、体が資本ですから。
It began with my husband’s injury in January, followed by a relocation of our workshop.
After months of physically demanding work, he’s finally come to terms with the reality that his body needs a bit more care than before.
But to me, that realization in itself was a gift.
The ability to adapt and stay flexible as life changes—perhaps that’s one of the keys to continuing this work long-term.
After all, our bodies are our most important tools.
今年の「良かったこと」のひとつは、工場が自宅のすぐ隣になったこと。
お客様の家具について細かい確認が必要な時も、試作中の家具の相談も、間をおかずにすぐ意見交換ができるようになり、製作の流れがぐっとスムーズに。今後さらに、気持ちよく作業できるよう、工場内も少しずつ整えていく予定です。
One of the silver linings this year was relocating our workshop right next to our home.
We’re now able to confirm furniture details or discuss prototypes without delay.
This has made our workflow much smoother than before.
We still have a few touches to add, but we’re already enjoying the convenience of this change.
今年は2つの展示会も開催しました。
2月は「88/90 Products」さんとの灯りと時計の展示会“Quotation”。
9月には「BEBICHIN」さんとのコラボ展“TRANSIRE”を。
Indigoは、古材やトタンなどの素材を生かして、フレームやボックス、ランプシェード、額装などを担当。
作家さんたちと共に生み出した、見応えある合作作品の数々。
オーダー家具とはまた違う視点に立てることで、制作意欲がぐんと刺激される経験となりました。
We also hosted two exhibitions this year.
In February, a joint show with 88/90 Products, showcasing lights and clocks.
In September, a collaboration with BEBICHIN titled TRANSIRE.
Indigo contributed frames, boxes, lamp shades, and display elements made from reclaimed wood and tin.
Working side-by-side with talented artists brought a fresh creative energy.It was a welcome shift from our usual custom orders—and a truly inspiring experience.
この一年も、多くの家具をご依頼いただきました。
はじめましてのお客様、そして数年越しに再びオーダーくださったお客様も。私たちの作る家具が、誰かの日々のそばで静かに力になれていること──
その喜びを改めて感じる一年となりました。心より、ありがとうございます。
Throughout the year, we had the honor of creating custom pieces for many wonderful clients.Some were new to us, while others reached out again after several years.Every order reminds us how grateful we are to be part of our clients’ everyday lives in some small way.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Indigoは、気づけば18年目に入りました。
見えないところでIndigoを温かく支えてくださるお客様、鉄工所の腕利きの職人さん、笑顔が素敵な材木店の先輩ご夫妻、木工機械の刃をピカピカに研いでくれる目立て屋さん、信頼印の配送業者さん。
関わって下さる皆さま、そのどちらが欠けてもIndigoの「今」はあり得ないのだと、18回目の冬を迎える今、沸々と感謝の気持ちが湧いてくるのです。
この場を借りて、改めて感謝申し上げます。

2026年も、私たちらしく。
“家で過ごす時間が、もっと心地よくなるように”。
